Brian Salinas - Apex combat and fitness

Dr. R. Brian Salinas has been studying martial arts since he was 12 years old. He has earned a 5th Degree in the American Cane System under GM Mark Shuey, a 2nd degree in TKD under Chief Master von Schmeling, equivalent of second degree in Praying Mantis Kung Fu (started training under GM Brenden Lai, after his passing trained under Sifu Layacan), Black Sash in Escrima under Master Everest Pepper. Brian also studied Win Chun under Sifu Tony Martin, as well as competed in Olympic Style fencing, Training under 2 time Olympic Medalist George Pogosov. Brian also earned his doctorate of psychology from the American School School of Psychology. Brian currently works as a psychologist for the California Department of Correction and Rehabilitation at the maximum security prison Salinas Valley State Prison (SVSP) in the Enhanced Outpatient Program.
