What is the objective of the seminar?

This seminar will provide women with practical self-defense skills and the confidence to stay safe and take action when faced with a threatening situation.

Who is the seminar for?
Female participants, age 13 and above.

What do I need to participate?
Comfortable gym attire

What will I learn and practice?
1. Passive, fighting and neutral stance, hands up to de-escalate.
2. De-escalation and threat response: hands up, run, verbal response, strike first
3. Effective targets: throat, eyes, groin, knees
4. Effective strikes: hammer fists, elbows, kicks

What situations will I work on?
1. Defense against bear hug
2. Defense against chokes / Hair pull
3. Responding to wrist grabs
4. Defending against gun/ knife intimidation and mugging
